The Liège Office Center wins the Public’s Choice Award at the city of Liège 2024 Architecture and Urban planning Awards
The Liège Office Center has been honored with the Public’s Choice Award at the 26th edition of the City of Liège’s Architecture and Urban Planning Awards.
For over twenty years, this prestigious award has recognized exemplary architectural projects that enhance the quality of urban life and contribute to the city’s appeal. Each year, the competition celebrates projects that successfully reimagine Liège’s urban landscape while respecting its heritage and promoting architectural excellence.
This year, the public had the opportunity to vote among forty remarkable projects, allowing citizens to acknowledge the creativity and vision of each project’s authors.
Opened in 2020, the Liège Office Center is a 17,500 m² complex featuring 11,000 m² of office space, 1,166 m² of retail spaces (including Burger King and Carrefour Express), 3,900 m² of hotel space (the 102-room Ibis Styles hotel), and 12 apartments.
Situated directly across from Guillemins train station, this multifunctional complex fosters interaction among professionals, retailers, and residents, establishing itself as a dynamic, attractive hub for the city of Liège.
It is undoubtedly this significant contribution to the Guillemins district that has earned the Liège Office Center the appreciation of the public.
