Ibis Styles Liège Guillemins has obtained the Green Key certification for the first time, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development
Ardent Invest’s “hospitality” investment division has reason to celebrate: Ibis Styles Liège Guillemins, one of the group’s companies, has just been certified for the first time by the international Green Key (Clé Verte) sustainability label. This certification, which recognizes the efforts of tourist establishments in environmental management, crowns the ecological initiatives implemented by the hotel. Located in the immediate vicinity of the Guillemins train station, Ibis Styles Liège Guillemins thus becomes a model of sustainability in the Walloon hotel sector.
This label, awarded by the international organization FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) and implemented in Wallonia by Canopea, is recognized in over 70 countries. It evaluates establishments based on strict criteria regarding water and energy management, waste management, as well as their commitment to biodiversity and raising customer awareness about sustainability.
This recognition highlights Ardent Invest’s commitment to a responsible and sustainable approach to hospitality. For Ibis Styles Liège Guillemins, this translates into a set of concrete actions: reducing packaging and plastic elements, optimizing waste management, raising awareness about energy reduction, as well as ongoing projects to install electric vehicle charging stations and photovoltaic panels.
